About me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Mathematics at UT Austin, advised by Joe Kileel. I expect to graduate in Spring 2027.

My research focuses on structure-driven mathematical methods for data analysis. I leverage manifold structure, tensor structure, and symmetry structure in data to develop efficient algorithms for the preprocessing, compression, and interpretation of highly complex datasets.

During the summers of 2024 and 2025, I was a research intern at IBM Research, working with Shashanka Ubaru and Lior Horesh. Previously, I completed an M.S. in Mathematics at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a B.S. in Physics at Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.
